Who Would You Like to See at Jazz Cafe?

We’ve hosted over 5,000 International, National and Detroit-based jazz artists in less than the 2 years we’ve been open. We’ve received calls and emails from tens of thousands of other musicians that would love to perform at the Jazz Cafe. Who would you like to see and hear? Let us know…

Trumpeter Eddie Davis: If I say nobody out plays him, you wouldn’t believe it. So I won’t say it. But, I’d like to send you a sample of his great music. He is not that far from Detroit. I will bet anything that you will not regret it. He needs to be heard in Detroit.
Russian classically-trained Jazz Pianist Andre Kitaev. He, also, should be heard more. He is brilliant.
They are my friends. But, if they werent, they’ll just little known outstanding players.
I come from a family of musicians. So, I do know a little about music.
Will you listen to there music? If so, I will get it to you.
Also, have you had Pianist Ahmad Jamal there? Or, have you had Tenor Don Braden there?
